Show-Deos Added to June & July Events
We've had a lot of requests for Showdeos, so we've added one to both the June and July events. They will be held on Sunday, June 28th at 10:00 am and Sunday, July 25th at 10:00 am. We will break at 12:30 for lunch and the chuckwagon/horse races and will finish the Showdeo after the races.
Racing event divisions will be: 8 & under, 9-13, 14-18, and 19 & over.
Events are as follows:
- Barrel Racing
- Pole Bending
- Flag Race
- Keyhole
- Texas Barrels
- ** Mutton Bustin' (ages six and under, and under 50 lbs)
Entry Fees as follows: All race events $2/each. Mutton Bustin' $5.
** There will be a limited number of mutton busters. Call-ins will be the Monday before at 6:00 pm. Call in number: 417-682-1659.
Tractor Pull Added to 2009 Schedule!
We'll be hosting a Truck & Tractor Pull with the Lockwood Chamber of Commerce on Friday, September 11, 2009 from 6-10pm!! So come on out as the tractors roar into Lazy P. We'll follow up the pull with live music entertainment.
2009 Calendar is Posted...
The 2009 Calendar of Events is set! We have events planned for every 4th weekend April-September, with the exception of May which will be on the 2nd weekend. Events will be added throughout the season, so be sure to check back often! Download a copy of the 2009 Schedule...
Every event offers 1200 Acres for Wagon & Trail Riding, and Entertainment on Friday and Saturday night. 25 Electric & Water Hook-Ups are available by reservation only. Vendors Welcome!

Lazy P is Available To Rent!
