When you purchase a weekend or day pass you will be issued a wristband which you are required to wear throughout your entire stay. This is strictly enforced. We have a few general rules for everyones safety: 1. No glass bottles! You are free to bring in all the food and beverage you want, just keep it in cans or plastic bottles folks! 2.All dogs must be kept on a leash. 3. NO ATV's. The Lazy P ATV's are for staff only. 4. No Underage Drinking, and 5. Negative Coggins required on all livestock. Security is provided by the Jasper County Sheriffs Posse.
We have 47 electric/water hookups available by reservation only. Call 417-232-4122 to make your reservations. These hookups are $15 a night. Primitive camping is free, over 1200 acres with many nice spots along the creek. Bring your fishing poles and swimming shorts! Showerhouses with plenty of hot water available. We do not have stalls for rent at Lazy P, so please plan ahead to high line your horses or bring your portable pens. We do have square bales, firewood, ice, and other amenities available at our General Store. Port-o-pottys are located all over the property, We do not supply them to individual campsites!
The Cook Shack is open all day during our events, and usually during our weeknight roping too. Make sure and try one of Debbies famous burgers and slice of homemade pie! We occasionally will have additional food vendors such as kettle corn, funnel cakes, etc.

We have live music after each rodeo and in the evenings after the chuckwagon races. Our lighted stage is behind the 200x300 outdoor arena, and faces a field big enough for everyone to bring their lawn chairs or use their tailgates. Weather permitting we usually have a large bonfire for everyone to gather around. Other things to do during the day include horsemanship clinics, guided trail rides, extreme obstacle courses, practice roping & barrel racing, mutton busting & kids activities. With over 1200 acres, there is something for everyone.

Todd and Becky Patterson, along with their children Dakota, Tristen, Ethan and Owen established the Lazy P Ranch & Arena in 2008. Todd and Becky also manufacture and distribute EZ Haul Hay Trailers, flatbeds, feeders, and harrow carts at T&B Welding and Trailers, just 3 miles southwest of the ranch.
